Block Elements

Not to be mixed up with:

Instead, block elements are separated from the content around it. Often, they allow for more interesting page styles when combined with css, such as headers, naviagation panes, and menus.

Some examples of block elements:

• paragraph (p)
• divider (div)
• section break (hr)
